Tax Preparation

An Angel’s Touch has professional tax advisors. Each preparer has a PTIN. We keep up with the recent tax laws and share information with our clients to help decrease their tax liability. We are capable of preparing different types of tax returns.

We have also partnered with a company to improve our client services. By utilizing our service, tax returns turn-around times can be as little as 1 to 3 business days (according to the nature of the return) so we can expedite the waiting for money back from their tax refund.
Tax return preparation is something that a lot of Americans must do every year. Why wade through the piles of paperwork trying to do your own taxes when others have decided that hiring someone else to take care of their tax return preparation which saves them time, headache, and audits. That's where we come in. We offer individual tax preparation.

Federal tax returns are due on April 15 or the first business day thereafter. However, the IRS does grant you to October 15th which is six-month for an extension to file your taxes every year, as long as you complete Form 4868. Even if you obtain an extension to file, you must still pay your income tax in full by the April deadline.
When you file your tax return, if you do not pay the tax you owe by the original tax filing deadline, the IRS penalties can be severe. The IRS will charge you one-half percent each month on the amount of tax you still owe after the deadline.

If you fail to file a return altogether by the extension date, the IRS penalty increases to 5 percent per month, for a maximum penalty of 25 percent. An easy way to avoid the penalty is to make a tax payment with your debit card before the filing deadline. When you do, this payment method serves as your extension application and you will not have to file Form 4868.

Free Notary Service to our Clients

We assist clients with compiling their information for the preparation of Wills. Trust and Power of Attorney.

Because these documents have to file with the courts, we also refer our clients to a legal team to assure the verbiage is proper before being submitted to the court.

Writing a Will or Trust isn't the most pleasant task. Most people think of dying when it comes to estate planning. According to an AARP survey, 2 out of 5 Americans over the age of 45 don't have a Will or Trust.

But creating a Will or Trust is one of the most critical things you can do for your loved ones. Putting your wishes on paper helps your heirs avoid unnecessary hassles, and you gain the peace of mind knowing that a life's worth of possessions will end up in the right hands and also save your family time and money.

The laws governing Wills and Trust vary from state to state. If you aren't familiar with them, consider consulting a knowledgeable lawyer or estate planner in your area.

What Is a Living Will?

A living will is a document that allows you to explain your wishes with regard to what medical procedures you want or don't want in the event your health becomes critical and you can't voice your wishes. You might be in an irreversible coma or you're suffering from a terminal illness. You might have suffered a severe injury and you're not expected to fully recover. You're no longer lucid and can no longer express to your caregivers what steps you want to take to preserve – or not to preserve – your life. Do you want your heart resuscitated if it stops? Would you rather not be placed on a ventilator even if it means saving your life? A living will is specifically designed to deal with how you feel about life-ending versus life-sustaining procedures.

A living will can also address issues of palliative care and organ donation. It allows you to express your wishes at a time when your life is not yet threatened and you're thinking clearly – you can express everything in advance.

What Is A Living Trust?

A living trust is a legal document created by you (the grantor) during your lifetime. Just like a will, a living trust spells out exactly what your desires are with regard to your assets, your dependents, and your heirs. The big difference is that a will becomes effective only after you die and your will has been entered into probate. A living trust bypasses the costly and time-consuming process of probate, enabling your successor trustee (who fills basically the same role as an executor of a will) to carry out your instructions as documented in your living trust at your death, and also if you’re unable to manage your financial, healthcare, and legal affairs due to incapacity.
